Grading Policy:
Final grade: 45% Major Grades, 35% Daily, 20% Final
Daily work: Quizzes will be given regularly and will count in the daily grade
Major Grades: Tests, Projects, and Alternate Assessments
SCHOOLWIDE RULES:
IDs must be worn at all times during the school day.
Cell phones/electronic devices are NOT permitted during class time.
NO hats are permitted to be worn in the school building.
Discipline Consequences:
1. Verbal Warning
2. Student Conference
3. Parental Contact
4. Referral to the Principal in charge of Discipline
Course Description: Study Skills is available to all high school students who have a current Individualized Education Program The purpose of the course is to provide students the opportunity to increase study and learning acquisition skills in a small group setting. Students will become more equipped to meet Georgia Performance Standards that are required in other classes. Students will also apply Standard-based skills to instructional tasks as determined by the Study Skills teacher.
